Reaching an extensive audience of over 150,000 leading contractors and construction-related business owners, including all 22,000 member companies of Associated Builders and Contractors nationwide, CE remains the principal source of all-things construction. Since 2003, the magazine has propelled construction professionals toward maximum profit and productivity by providing valuable insight on various industry-related topics. CE developed The Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms™ ranking by asking more than 700 U.S. construction accounting firms to complete a survey. The data collected included: 1) 2023 revenues from the firm’s construction practice; 2) number of CPAs in the firm’s construction practice; 3) percentage of the firm’s total revenues derived from its construction practice; 4) number of states in which the firm is licensed to practice; 5) year in which the construction practice was established; and 6) number of AEC clients served during fiscal year 2023. The ranking was determined by an algorithm that weighted the aforementioned factors in descending order of importance.
